On Wednesday October 17th in Madrid, InfoCert and Camerfirma presented the “Building the Digital Future” event, which celebrates the birth of the first European Pole for Digital Certification.

The event took place at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, with the participation of many European and Spanish authorities and experts, to analyze challenges and opportunities coming from the Digital Single Market. Among these, Carlos Gomez Muñoz – Policy Officer at the Directorate General Communications Networks, Content and Technology, unitH4, e-Government and Trust at the European Commission – held a speech about Trust in a Digital Society.

InfoCert, Camerfirma and Luxtrust: together to become the European Champion of Digital Trust

The acquisition of Camerfirma has been the first milestone of the international expansion path of InfoCert, who recently announced a Joint Venture agreement with LuxTrust, the most important Trust Service Provider in Luxembourg, aiming to expand its business in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

InfoCert, Camerfirma and Luxtrust presented themselves to an authoritative audience in their common role as European providers of Digital Trust services, which together aim to become the European Champion of Digital Trust.

The “Building the Digital Future” event represents the operational beginning of new development strategies for the Iberic and Latin American markets, relying on trusted and acknowledged know-how of Camerfirma.
