The future of education is digital!
One of Italy’s leading universities in the fields of economics, management, law and social sciences turned to InfoCert to digitize the signature processes.
InfoCert for the Education Sector
In recent years, the education sector has undergone a profound transformation: new teaching models have been adopted thanks to the latest technologies and distance learning has facilitated interactions and shortened distances, opening up new possibilities for teachers and students. Digitalisation has also proved to be a strong competitive advantage to support emerging business models and to make operational processes more efficient. In a scenario full of challenges and changes, innovating is thus the only viable choice, to thrive while improving the experience of its stakeholders.
Objective: digitalize contracts for recruitment and internships
One of Italy’s leading universities in the fields of economics, management, law and social sciences turned to InfoCert to digitize signature processes.
Always striving for improvement and innovation, the university needed to undertake a digital transformation process capable of digitally identifying and signing collaboration contracts for lecturers and internship contracts for students, in fully remote mode.
The signature process that the university had followed until then involved the use of a large amount of printed paper and the need to scan the identity documents required to recognise signatories.
TOP, the InfoCert digital solution for speeding up the onboarding of teachers and students
InfoCert therefore provided the client with a digital signature process for lecturers’ contracts and students’ internship activities through remote identification and the issuance of an electronic signature.
This was possible thanks to TOP, Trusted Onboarding Platform, the InfoCert onboarding solution integrated from within the systems in use by the university.
Identification: thanks to OCR, liveness detection and face matching technologies provided by InfoCert, lecturers and students can proceed with identification in SelfID mode, without the support of an operator.
Contract signing: teachers and students have the possibility of signing the entire dossier through the use of an advanced electronic signature, based on the use of OTPs notified via SMS to the mobile phone number declared by the user during data registration.
The adoption of a remote, digital signature process for signing thousands of contracts per year has enabled the university to simplify and speed up back-office activities and, last but not least, to adopt more sustainable processes, thanks to the large amount of printed paper saved.
