How to get a Qualified digital signature?

The first step to obtain a Qualified Electronic Signature is to choose the recognition mode that best fits your needs. Recognition is the fundamental phase in which the certifier verifies the identity of the legitimate owner of the digital signature. 

 

InfoCert offers 2 types of recognition for obtaining one’s signature certificate: 

 

  • Online Video Call: is performed by our remote operators. During the session you will need a currently valid passport or ID Card (Italian and German citizens only). 
  • eDoc ID: the first unattended identification method for the QES that, thanks to the use of advanced technology, allows you to proceed autonomously with an electronic document to prove your identity. Through a totally automatic identification process, the MyInfoCert app will enable you to obtain your Qualified Electronic Signature autonomously and in a matter of minutes. 

This identification process is only available on mobile phones with NFC technology and requires a currently valid electronic passport or an electronic ID Card (Italian citizens only).

Once you have your certificate, in order to affix and manage your signature, you need to use a signature software such as GoSign, which is free and accessible from PCs, tablets and smartphones. GoSign is the web, desktop and mobile app that can be downloaded free of charge onto your device and allows you to activate, monitor and verify your digital signature as well as manage and verify time stamps.
