InfoCert focuses on Romania: a direct commercial presence is underway within a highly potential market

The decision is part of the strategic business development plan in Eastern Europe.

Digital trust solutions are ideal for companies facing the COVID-19 emergency, and that want to maintain their competitiveness also in view of economic recovery.

Rome, June 4, 2020 – InfoCert (Tinexta Group), the largest Certification Authority at the European level, announces that it has launched a commercial presence in Romania for the development of the local market, which is considered to have high potential for digitization. The decision is part of InfoCert’s strategic international expansion plan and, in particular, in the Eastern European area where the company is already active in countries such as Slovenia, Croatia, Poland and Hungary.

Romania’s digital market is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing in the Eastern European area, relying on one of the most developed and innovative banking sectors in the area and with a historic presence of the main European banking groups that are already InfoCert customers

InfoCert offers the Romanian market the best-in-class digital trust services and solutions by means of which it is gaining a reputation throughout Europe: Based on cutting-edge technologies and already compliant with the European and Romanian regulatory framework, InfoCert solutions are able to meet the increasingly complex needs of customers, who are sometimes called upon to face unexpected and difficult challenges such as the current global health emergency for COVID-19 and the sudden explosion of phenomena such as smart working.

In fact, more than ever, the solutions for concluding digital transactions with full legal value – such as Digital Signature and Digital Preservation – have proven to be fundamental for those who must manage and promote their business by operating remotely: for example, for banks and financial institutions that allow customers to open current accounts, obtain financing or reschedule online mortgage payments; for insurance companies that manage to make it possible for policies to be taken out in real time; for telephone companies that allow customers to easily request and activate a SIM card; or maybe for a small businessman who can sign contracts with customers and suppliers without any need for face-to-face meetings.

“We are by far the largest Qualified Trust Service Provider in Europe and our customers acknowledge our ability to make their digital transformation ‘pragmatic’. And this is already happening also in Romania, a market with a great potential for growth.” affirms Michele Lavizzari, Chief International Development Officer of InfoCert (Tinexta Group). “We have ambitious goals and we are convinced that we can achieve them also thanks to the competence and enthusiasm of a manager like Adrian Moraru, whom we have chosen as the country’s sales manager.”

With a degree in Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering from the Polytechnic of Bucharest, Adrian Moraru has a consolidated experience in IT and Digital Trust solutions. In particular, he was responsible – for companies operating in the sector – for the development of the market, including the management of tenders and contracts, and relations with existing customers.

“I am convinced that Romania will appreciate the quality and reliability of InfoCert’s Trust Services, even more so in a historical period such as the current one in which their added value is even more evident” affirms Adrian Moraru, InfoCert Sales Manager Romania ( Tinexta Group). “In particular, the interest of the banking and financial sector in customer onboarding and instant lending solutions is significant. It is an area in which we already boast high-level local references: the national branches of some global credit companies. However, promising contacts and negotiations are already underway with various companies in the worlds of Insurance, Healthcare and Utilities”.
