Since 1960, Compass has been one of the leading consumer credit companies and is part of the Mediobanca Group. With more than 300 branches across the country and around 3 million active users, in September 2025 it added another chapter to its history by becoming part of the Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. Group.
The challenge: improving operational efficiency
Compass’s challenge was to digitalize all onboarding processes used both by its branches and by its commercial partners. For this reason, it turned to Tinexta Infocert, which proposed the adoption of the Trust Onboarding Platform.
Thanks to the most advanced identification technologies and integrated Signature features, the solution enables identity verification and contract signing with clients and stakeholders in just a few minutes, offering a simple user experience while ensuring the highest security standards. Specifically, Compass integrated Video Recognition capabilities for both Italian and international clients, as well as AML ID functionalities.
The results
Today integrated into more than 20 business processes, the TOP Onboarding platform has enabled Compass to achieve outstanding results in terms of transaction volumes and has freed up time and resources from low-value operational activities, creating more room for strategic initiatives.
