What is EPREL?
European Product Database for Energy Labelling
EPREL is the European Commission’s database for energy labelling.
It provides information on the energy efficiency of all products covered by the energy consumption labelling regulations.
Which companies need to comply?
EPREL is aimed at manufacturers, importers and distributors of products subject to energy labelling such as household appliances, lighting systems and heating or cooling equipment.
These companies must register their products in the EPREL database and can do so with InfoCert’s Qualified Electronic Seal.
What is an Electronic Seal?
Applied on behalf of legal entities
The Qualified Electronic Seal Certificate (QSealC) is similar to a “qualified electronic signature,” but it is used by legal entities, such as organizations or institutions.
Company identification
The InfoCert Electronic Seal ensures the company’s identity and, when applied to a document, certifies the origin, authenticity, and integrity of the sealed content.
Legal Validity
The Qualified eSeal Certificate (QSealC) guarantees the authenticity and integrity of the transmitted data, offering legal proof of the transaction that can be used as evidence.
