InfoCert 1st Italian QTSP certified for signature validation and eSeal
This new and important certification for the world of trust services joins others that InfoCert has earned over the years, confirming it as a European Champion of Digital Trust.
AgID recently certified InfoCert for its Qualified validation service for qualified electronic signature and for its Qualified validation service for qualified electronic seal.
This new certification was designed to address a market need to ensure that large organisations (primarily central governments, public administrations and companies operating in the banking ecosystem) are able to verify with absolute certainty the validity and integrity of a signature affixed to a contract or document, whether by a natural person (QESig) or a legal entity (QESeal).
InfoCert increasingly a European Champion of Digital Trust
With this new certification, companies and public administrations in Europe can easily integrate this new, entirely API-based solution, and again rely on the largest QTSP in Europe.
InfoCert’s services portfolio has always included the signature validation service, until now offering it in GoSign Desktop, the most widely used signature application in Italy. This solution allowed anyone to upload a signed document to GoSign and verify its validity, whether in Italy or in any European country in which the certificate was issued.
Today this AgID-certified service is also available via API and InfoCert’s clients can automatically integrate the signature and seal validation step into their business processes. Verification is done in real time and validates signed files in any format, including PDF, P7M, XML and JSON.
This additional certification at the European level recognises our intensive group work and means that we can once more position ourselves as market leader in both Italy and Europe for Trusted Services compliant with the eIDAS regulation.
